TabTrade Review 2026
TabTrade is the new name every low-spread trader is asking about in 2026. It launched in March this year with one clear pitch: zero average spreads on major FX pairs, backed by data, not a marketing minimum. That’s a bold claim in an industry full of “from 0.0” pricing that never actually averages out to zero. TabTrade has published third-party testing to back it up, and independent reviewers have gone out and checked the numbers themselves.
TabTrade was founded by Benjamin Boulter, who spent around four years running partnerships and growth at Pepperstone before joining BlackBull Markets, where he left as chief strategy officer. That background shows in how the broker is built: a narrow account lineup, aggressive pricing, high leverage, and infrastructure that would look familiar to anyone who’s traded with an established ECN broker.
TabTrade currently holds a Full Service Dealer licence (Investment Dealer, SEC-2.1B) from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, granted in July 2026. It’s a genuine dealing licence with real obligations attached, but it’s a tier 3 jurisdiction, not a tier 1 regulator like ASIC or the FCA. TabTrade has stated that applications with ASIC and the FCA are underway, though that can’t be independently verified until (or if) they’re granted.
Update: August 2026
Keynotes
- Zero average spreads on major FX pairs, independently measured near 0.02 to 0.06 pips on the Edge account
- Leverage up to 1:1000 on FX majors, among the highest offered by any broker we track
- $3.50 per side, per lot commission on Edge, in line with IC Markets Raw and Pepperstone Razor
- $0 minimum deposit on Standard, $250 to open Edge
- MetaTrader 5 only for now, with cTrader and TradingView listed as coming soon
- FSC Mauritius licensed, but no negative balance protection and no investor compensation scheme
TabTrade has built its entire proposition around two things: pricing and leverage. Everything else about the broker, from platforms to research to regulation, sits a level below what you’d get from an established name. Whether that trade-off works for you depends on how much you value tight spreads and high leverage against the safety net of tier 1 oversight.
TabTrade Trustpilot Review
TabTrade holds a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot from 29 reviews, with 86% of them five-star. The recurring theme in the positive reviews is support speed and low spreads. There’s one detailed negative review describing a rejected verification, which the company responded to publicly. With a sample this small, it’s worth watching how the rating holds up as review volume grows.

Why TabTrade’s Spreads and Leverage Stand Out
This is really the whole story with TabTrade, so it’s worth spending time on before anything else.
Spreads. Most brokers advertise a minimum spread that only shows up for a few seconds a day. TabTrade built its pitch around the average instead, and had it checked by an outside firm. Datalyst measured the Edge account’s spread across a full month of live-account data, pulled from more than 10,000 accounts, with the thin-liquidity rollover window excluded. The result: 0.04 pips average across the majors. CompareForexBrokers ran its own independent test in August and landed in the same range, EUR/USD at 0.06 pips, AUD/USD at 0.04 pips, GBP/USD at 0.13 to 0.15 pips. When the number a broker pays to have measured matches what an unrelated reviewer finds on their own, that’s a genuine signal, not just marketing copy.
The trade-off is the commission. At $3.50 per side, per lot, TabTrade isn’t undercutting anyone. It’s matching IC Markets Raw and Pepperstone Razor. What’s different is the spread sitting on top of that commission is tighter than either of them typically offers, which is what pulls the all-in cost down to around $7 to $7.60 per standard lot.
Gold is worth flagging separately. XAU/USD spreads average closer to 1.81 pips on Edge, which is unremarkable. The zero-spread story applies specifically to major FX pairs, not the whole product range.
Leverage. TabTrade offers up to 1:1000 on FX majors, gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. That’s among the highest leverage available from any broker with a real financial licence attached, well above the 20:1 to 30:1 caps that ASIC, the FCA, and North American regulators impose on retail accounts. New accounts depositing under $500 get 1:1000 by default on FX majors; above that, the default drops to 1:500 unless you’re approved for more.
High leverage cuts both ways, and TabTrade doesn’t have negative balance protection to catch a bad move. Margin call sits at 100% and automatic stop-out at 50%, which limits the damage in normal conditions but won’t save you from a weekend gap or a sudden news spike. If you’re trading at 1:1000, position sizing discipline isn’t optional. It’s the only thing standing between you and a debt to the broker.
Regulation and Security
TabTrade runs two entities, and only one of them carries a financial licence.
TabTrade (Mauritius) Ltd holds licence GB26206419 from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, an Investment Dealer authorisation (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting, SEC-2.1B) granted 2 July 2026. It’s a substantive dealing licence, not an introducer permission, and it comes with real conditions: client funds must be segregated, and the anti-money-laundering framework is reassessed annually. You can verify the licence yourself on the FSC’s online public register.
TabTrade Ltd is registered in Saint Lucia under the International Business Companies Act (registration 2025-00919). This is a company registration, not a broker licence. Saint Lucia’s FSRA doesn’t licence forex brokers at all. Check which entity your account agreement names before you deposit, since that’s the entity you’re actually contracting with.
Client Fund Protection: Deposits sit in segregated accounts at top-tier banks, separated from TabTrade’s own operating funds, with daily reconciliation and independent audit. This is a condition of the Mauritius licence rather than a voluntary gesture.
What’s missing: There’s no negative balance protection on any account type, and no investor compensation scheme. If a fast market pushes an account into deficit, the trader is on the hook for the shortfall. There’s also no regulatory backstop if the firm itself were to fail. Set against that, no regulator has issued a warning against TabTrade, and the company has gone from incorporation to a full Mauritius dealing licence in under five months.
Country Restrictions: TabTrade doesn’t accept residents of Australia, New Zealand, the United States, or a list of sanctioned and FATF-flagged jurisdictions. It’s worth noting the broker also excludes most of the Caribbean, including Saint Lucia, where it’s incorporated. That’s a more conservative compliance posture than most offshore brokers chasing volume tend to show.

Fees & Commissions Trading with TabTrade
TabTrade’s pricing is genuinely one of the more competitive setups on the market right now, provided you’re using the Edge account.
Standard Account (Commission-Free):
- Spreads from 1.0 pip, all costs built into the spread
- No minimum deposit
- Best for beginners who want simple, predictable pricing
Edge Account (Commission-Based):
- Raw spreads averaging 0.02 to 0.06 pips on majors
- $3.50 per side, per lot, confirmed by TabTrade in writing to hold flat regardless of volume
- All-in cost of roughly $7.05 to $7.60 per standard lot, competitive with IC Markets Raw and Pepperstone Razor
Additional Fees:
- No deposit fees on any funding method
- No withdrawal fees on any funding method
- No inactivity fees. Idle balances move into a TabTrade Wallet rather than being charged down
- Third-party bank fees on wire transfers are the only cost outside TabTrade’s control
Execution and Spreads
TabTrade routes orders through Equinix LD5 in London and NY4 in New York, the same colocation facilities used by prime brokers and major banks.
Execution Model: TabTrade markets itself as ECN/STP with no dealing desk. When asked directly, the company confirmed in writing that it runs a hybrid model: some trades are matched internally between clients, others are routed to external liquidity providers, with all routing handled automatically. This is standard across most retail CFD brokers, including plenty of tier 1 regulated ones. What’s notable is TabTrade’s willingness to say so directly rather than lean on the ECN label without qualification.
Execution Speed: TabTrade targets under 30 milliseconds on Standard and Edge, and around 20 milliseconds on VIP. These are the broker’s own figures and haven’t been independently timed, so treat them as a design target.
Spread Performance:
- EUR/USD (Edge): 0.02 to 0.06 pips average across independent tests
- GBP/USD (Edge): 0.13 to 0.15 pips average
- AUD/USD (Edge): 0.04 to 0.06 pips average
- Gold (Edge): Around 1.81 pips average, unremarkable compared to the FX pricing
Trading Rules: Scalping, hedging, and Expert Advisors are all permitted without restriction on every account. There’s no minimum holding period.
Leverage and Margin
TabTrade offers leverage up to 1:1000 on FX majors, gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, with lower caps on other instruments.
| Products | Leverage |
|---|---|
| Forex (majors, minors, crosses) | up to 1:1000 |
| Forex (exotics) | up to 1:500 |
| Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium | up to 1:1000 |
| Indices | up to 1:200 |
| Commodities (Oil) | up to 1:250 |
| Commodities (Natural Gas) | up to 1:10 |
| Shares | up to 1:20 |
| Cryptocurrencies | up to 1:20 |
Deposits under $500 get 1:1000 by default on FX majors at signup. Above $500, the default drops to 1:500 unless approved for higher leverage. Some regions carry lower defaults regardless of deposit size, and TabTrade reviews its leverage policy over time.
Margin call triggers at 100%, with automatic stop-out at 50%, closing losing positions before they can push an account further into deficit. Maximum position size is 100 lots per trade, with up to 500 open tickets at once. There’s no negative balance protection behind any of this, so a fast-moving market can leave an account owing more than it holds.
Trading Platforms
TabTrade’s platform lineup is narrow today, with more on the roadmap.
MetaTrader 5
The only live platform right now, available on desktop, WebTrader, and mobile (iOS and Android). It runs on TabTrade’s Equinix LD5 and NY4 infrastructure. MT5 supports the full product range, including shares and commodities, and includes 38+ technical indicators, 21 timeframes, depth-of-market data, and MQL5 programming for Expert Advisors. The interface has a learning curve if you’ve never used MetaTrader before, and mobile MT5 gets cramped for anything beyond basic order management.
WebTrader
A no-download, browser-based version of MT5 that syncs trades and alerts with the desktop client. Fine for short-term technical analysis, but lighter on indicators and drawing tools than the desktop version, and it doesn’t support Expert Advisors.
cTrader and TradingView
Both are listed as coming soon on TabTrade’s platform pages. Several third-party reviews have reported cTrader as already live, which isn’t accurate as of this review. If either platform matters to your trading, wait for confirmation before opening an account expecting to find it there.
Free VPS Hosting
TabTrade offers a free MT5-integrated virtual server, manageable from inside the platform, suitable for running Expert Advisors without keeping your own machine on. There’s also a paid external VPS option through partners Beeks and NYC Servers, the latter positioned near TabTrade’s NY4 infrastructure for lower latency. Standalone MT5 VPS hosting typically runs $15 to $30 a month elsewhere, so the free option is a real saving for anyone running automated strategies.
Copy Trading
TabTrade runs its own copy trading system, TabTrade Social, available through a dedicated app and the Secure Account Portal. It’s not built on MT5 Signals or a third-party platform like ZuluTrade. Follower and provider fees aren’t disclosed publicly, so ask support before allocating capital.
Withdrawal Methods
TabTrade supports a wide funding range: Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, cryptocurrency, Skrill, Neteller, bank transfers, and over 50 region-specific options.
Available Methods:
- Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller: instant deposits
- Cryptocurrency: within the hour, depending on network conditions
- Bank Wire: one to two business days
Withdrawal Processing: Cards and e-wallets process within one to three business days, crypto within one business day, and bank transfers take two to five business days. All requests go through the Secure Account Portal.
Fees: TabTrade charges nothing on deposits or withdrawals across any method. The only costs outside its control are third-party bank charges on wire transfers.
Minimum Deposit
Standard has no minimum, unusual at the entry level, since most brokers ask for at least $50 to $200. Edge requires $250, in line with raw-spread accounts at IC Markets and Pepperstone. VIP requires $25,000.
Account Base Currencies
TabTrade supports seven base currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, and SGD. TabTrade also runs a multi-currency wallet, letting you hold several currencies and move funds between accounts without re-depositing each time.

Recommended for Trader Types
Scalpers and Active Day Traders: The Edge account’s near-zero average spreads and flat $3.50 per side commission make TabTrade one of the cheapest places to run a high-frequency strategy right now.
Algorithmic and EA Traders: Unrestricted Expert Advisors, a free MT5 VPS, and FIX API access for higher-volume flow make TabTrade a strong fit for automated strategies.
Experienced Traders Comfortable with Offshore Regulation: If you understand the trade-off between tier 3 licensing and aggressive pricing, and you can manage your own position sizing without a negative balance safety net, TabTrade’s cost structure is hard to beat.
Not a Fit for Beginners: The lack of negative balance protection combined with 1:1000 leverage is a dangerous mix for anyone without solid risk management habits. Beginners are better served starting with a tier 1 regulated broker.
Customer Support
TabTrade runs 24/7 support through live chat, email, WhatsApp, and regional phone lines covering the UK, Asia Pacific, Thailand, and Latin America.
Support Quality: Two separate independent review teams tested live chat and both received replies in under 60 seconds, with agents able to answer detailed technical questions on execution routing and infrastructure at first contact.
TabTrade+ Priority Support: An optional paid subscription bundling Tier 1 priority chat, a dedicated account manager, free VPS, and faster funding. Pricing starts at $29 per month for the first year, rising to $59 per month standard.
Languages: The site and support run in English, Spanish, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
Supported Languages
TabTrade support run in English, Spanish, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
Trading Tools and Resources
TabTrade is light on education and research compared to established brokers, but strong on the tools that matter for automated and active trading.
Available Tools:
- Economic calendar with live spread data
- Pip, margin, and swap calculators
- MT5’s built-in technical indicators and depth-of-market data
- Free MT5 VPS hosting, plus paid options through Beeks and NYC Servers
- FIX API access for higher-volume and institutional flow
- MAM and PAMM structures for money managers
What’s Missing:
TabTrade doesn’t run a structured education program, courses, or webinars. If you’re new to trading and rely on broker-provided education, that’s a real gap. For traders who already have their own research workflow, it’s unlikely to matter.

Overall Assessment of TabTrade
TabTrade delivers on the two things it set out to do: pricing and leverage. Raw spreads averaging under 0.1 pips on major FX pairs, confirmed by two separate independent sources, backed by a flat $3.50 per side commission that matches the industry’s cheapest raw-spread accounts. Leverage up to 1:1000 on FX majors goes well beyond what most regulated brokers can offer. Add fee-free deposits and withdrawals, a genuinely free demo account, and support that answers in under a minute, and it’s easy to see why TabTrade has picked up momentum since its March 2026 launch.
The trade-offs are real, too. TabTrade’s only financial licence sits with the Mauritius FSC, a tier 3 jurisdiction, and there’s no negative balance protection or investor compensation scheme behind any account. MetaTrader 5 is the only live platform, with cTrader and TradingView still on the roadmap. Five months of operating history isn’t enough to judge how the broker performs under sustained pressure.
TabTrade is best suited to experienced traders who prioritize cost per trade and can manage their own risk without a regulatory safety net. Beginners, or anyone who values tier 1 oversight over pricing, should look elsewhere.
